Online advertising spending, which was just $50-million in 1999, is expected to reach $801-million this year, up a further 43% from 2005, said the study, which surveyed the top 100 sites selling advertising.* JupiterResearch, finds that media & entertainment, financial services, TRAVEL, and automotive advertisers will spend $11.5 billion advertising online in 2011.
